FCCLA - Congratulations to all nine BEHS competitors for receiving a gold rating!!
On January 29, 2015 Blue Eye High School Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) members attended regional STAR Events competition in Bolivar, MO. Nine members competed in STAR Events and two members served as volunteers for the competition. STAR Events are competitive events which members are recognized for proficiency and achievement in chapter and individual projects, leadership skills, and career preparation. These events provide opportunities to demonstrate college and career ready skills, specifically in Family and Consumer Sciences and related occupations. At regional competition, all nine BEHS competitors received a gold rating, advancing to state competition in Columbia, MO this March.
FCCLA is a dynamic and effective national student organization that helps students become leaders and address important personal, family, work, and societal issues through Family and Consumer Science education. Blue Eye High School has 44 FCCLA members this school year, a 25% membership increase from the previous school year.
