Archery State Results

Our Bulldogs finished the Missouri State 3D Archery Tournament as the 9th best team in the State. There were close to 30 elementary schools that had archers competing and 14 schools had at least 6 archers qualified as a full 3D Team. Most of these schools were from Class 4, 5, and 6 sized schools or private schools. It's an accomplishment for a school our size to have 18 archers qualify for State.

We challenged our kids going in to the tournament to raise our team score by 100 points, and they got very close, raising it by 60. It was a very tough field, and I know we didn't get to our ultimate goal, but we showed tremendous improvement this year. One tournament does not define a champion. A true champion emerges in the early mornings, a determined force, focused on their goals and willing to work to reach them. These kids are champions in my book.

The Drive to Save Lives Assembly

We were happy to have Cara Filler join us today for an assembly focusing on overcoming life’s speed bumps, avoiding negative risks and being YOU-nique. Cara’s visit was sponsored by MODOT and it was a inspiring to hear her speak to our Middle and High School students.

Our STUCO students posed for a photo with Cara after the assembly.
