Blue Eye Elementary Christmas Concert 2022
Our 6th grade classes are smack dab in the middle of their business unit, so invited a former 6th grade student (current 11th grade Blue Eye HS student) to share her personal business ventures with the kids.
Ms. Olivia Finch spoke to classes about her business, Dreaming on the Creek. She talked about how she runs her business all while going to school and participating in school events and activities, and gave great advice to the kids about not procrastinating, not giving up, and always working hard.
This lovely young lady shows that, at 16, you are never too young to chase your dreams!
Thank you Olivia for sharing with our kids! You are such an impressive young lady and we are proud of you and your accomplishments!
Our team had our first ever perfect 50 this morning in practice. Karson, a 5th grader (2nd year archery), shot it at 10 meters.
Payton had a great group on a 3D target from 10 meters also!
We have our new backdrops installed and archery practices are much more productive now!
Karson Jones made our first ever perfect score of 50!
ALL 5 arrows hit the bullseye!
Way to go Karson!
Meryn also had 3 yellows in the same round this morning! it's hard to keep up, they are doing so well.
Charolette had 4 arrows in the yellow in one round this morning! They are really coming along and improving, which is pushing each other to improve too.
Juniors that are currently participating in the A+ program spent the day Job Shadowing in various locations around the area. Thank you to Barton's Auto Repair, Dogwood Canyon, Carroll Electric, Therapy Services of Northwest Arkansas, Sight and Sound Theater, Anna Champlin at the USDA Rural Development Office and DeWitt Construction for hosting students at your place of business today. They learned valuable lessons and had a great time!
From Ms. Rider in 2A...Loretta met her AR goal early this quarter and she wanted to share her passion for reading with the kindergarten classes. She chose to read "The ABC Book" by Dr. Seuss to them because she said it's a fun book and it also helps them with their words and sounds!
-Today a reader, tomorrow a leader!
Dr. Arnold visited Mrs. Turner's 3rd grade class and read "The Grinch Who Stole Christmas" to kick off their 12 Days of Kindness activity! The Grinch visits 3A daily in December and gives the students one kindness task to do each day!
