From 4A: We had a great Ivan day today, celebrating the end of our novel, The One and Only Ivan! We did some Ivan math problems, Ivan character study, and made a flag of our favorite parts of the book. We ended the day with the movie and eating some of Ivan’s favorite snacks like yogurt, raisins, bananas, and marshmallows!

Our School Bus Safety coloring contest winners!!! Nice coloring kids! 🖍️
(It's really difficult to get a shot with this many excited children! 🤣)
Pictured here you will see the folks that drive our students to school and back home safely each day. Our School Bus Drivers are an important element of each school day and they deserve a BIG THANK YOU! We couldn't do our job if they weren't making sure our kids get here safely each day!
Mrs. Casey Parton, one of our drivers and a paraprofessional, arranged a special week of celebrating School Bus Safety with our kids and our drivers. She made School Bus Driver Survival Bag gifts and special t-shirts for all of our drivers.
A special shout out to our Transportation Director, Mr. Ed Norton, for not only keeping our routes running smoothly, but for driving one of those routes too! We appreciate you!
7th grade has been learning about Unit Rates, so today we are doing an activity from the Conservation Department, where they learn about Bighorn Sheep.
They watched a video from the Conservation Department, and calculated the increase in the amount of sheep in Nevada since 1984, then they calculated how much water sheep drink in Unit Rates.
We got the archery target out for reference.
Mrs.Redford & Kristian Vest won our September water challenge!!! 🚰 💦
This month’s challenge was sponsored by Wendy Youngblood with Modern Woodmen. Congratulations! 👏🏻🎉🎊
